Offsite Manufacturing method for constructions can be defined as work or part of work which could have been completed at site itself, is done offsite (ex: in a factory), transported and installed at site. These methods can be classified into two groups as; 1.) Volumetric methods (ex: complete office or bathroom or kitchen is assembled in a factory, transport and installed at site) 2.) Non-volumetric methods (ex:foundations, beams, columns, slabs,walls,roof etc are pre-cast or pre-fabricated outside, transport and installed at site).
