Who We Are:
Inverleigh is a young, dynamic media company with offices in Melbourne and London that produces and distributes sports content for international television networks and digital platforms. Our programs are currently broadcast by over 200 television networks into over 180 countries and via a range of digital operators.
In line with our expansion strategy, we are undertaking an exciting launch of a multi-facetted startup division that will target sports fans with visually stunning websites and mobile applications. We will deliver our digital products to online communities and harness our existing TV audience of millions of homes around the world.
The Role:
We want our new digital products to be the most functional and attractive solutions out there for a global sports market and seek a capable designer who will be instrumental in creating products of which we will be proud.
Working alongside our Product Manager you will take ownership of the design, develop the look and feel of our first fleet of products and improve the way we communicate with our customers.
We have a focus on testing our designs, whether through A/B testing or user research and gathering feedback. We’ll be looking to you to help with planning experiments, gathering and analysing data, and figuring out what works.
Responsibilities include:
• Design responsive websites, mobile applications and digital marketing material for a range of sport based brands
• Collaboration within a tight-knit digital team in defining product road maps, building prototypes and developing strategies around branding, aesthetics, copy, and in-house style guides
• Work with the development team to implement your designs
• Assistance planning A/B testing and gathering feedback
• Passion/understanding of sport is a great advantage
A little About You:
• Experienced designing for Web and mobile applications in a commercial environment
• You’re constantly thinking about how users are interacting with your products and how you can get real feedback to improve the user experience and make your products more useful and relevant.
• You understand how design is both form and function, and how important design is in the overall marketing mix.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
Desirable but not essential:
• Javascript knowledge
• Experience working with Bootstrap framework
• Understanding of various CMS platforms
Package:
We offer flexible working arrangements: either a 3-6 month contract or work with you on a project-per-project (day rate) basis. We're also open to a full time permenent role for the right person.
